Summary
WI 2026 does not send your searches or downloaded county data to GoGIS. On iPhone, the app uses Apple MapKit. On Android, using My Location shares your device location with Mapbox to show your position on the map. Parcel attributes are public source data shown in the app; they are read-only and cannot be edited through WI 2026.
Data stored on your device
Downloaded county parcel data, search terms and results, and app settings are stored locally on your device so the app can work. This information is not sent to GoGIS. The platform-specific map-service handling described below is separate.
